Roses in the farm

It was spring as I remember

Her face beamed,

As zephyr brushed her hair

She smiled,

Seeing roses in the farm

Singing aloud,

Waiting for her man

She wrote another song

Seasons passed…

Woke up with a jolt,

She looked around the empty room

Rubbing her eyes,

She gazed through the porch

It was snowing,

And there were no roses in the farm.

  1. The wind shall wisper a merry song again,
Her eyes lit up like the shimmering stars,
Gray November and white December will die,
    As the days goes by,
On this ground her tears lie,
A flower besides her blossoms soothing her melancholic cries.

Nice lines my sweet friend πŸ™‚

    1. We can’t alter reality but at least the verses could flow according to our emotions and sentiments. Keep Smiling my sweet friend πŸ™‚
